This month's Theme is

I don't think I've never made any different fold type of card. I had a chance to make last time, but I made an album instead.

This time I made a pop up box card for my friend's son - Birthday boy!

This card's finish size is 4-3/8" x 5-1/2"
It will perfectly fit in Standard C6

I used one of pattern sheet from "True Gentleman Designer Series Paper"

so many colours on this sheet, so I wanted all of stamp images to be stamped on Black ink and give small accent for colouring.

It's so simple to make!

Cut cardstock -4" x 11-5/8"
Score - Short side 2-1/4"  //  Long side 3-1/2" , 5-1/2" 9", 11"
end to end put together, fold down front and both side Only.
glue small strips- 4-1/2" x 1" (Score  Long side - 1/2" each side) I used 2 strips (you can use them as many as you want)
inside box so they become bridge?!
Decorate with Pretty DSP(Designer Series Paper)
-1 of  3-1/4" x 1-1/2"
2 of 1-3/4" x 1-1/2"
2 of 3-1/4" x 3-7/8"    (1 DSP - Deco, 1 White card - Message)
and embellishments
I cut the Acetate Card Box to make few clear strips for floating embellishments.

I will add a process video for this card tomorrow, so If you want to see the process, Please come back again!

    1. Hi Lynn
      Thank you :-)

UK Standard A4 is 8-1/4" x 11-5/8". so I simply didn't want to create new scrap. haha
If you want to make exact size box card as mine, you need to cut from 12" x 12" cardstock. or you can make it 1/8" shorter every side(Card base - 4" x 11" Score short side -same // Long side 3-3/8", 5-1/4", 8-5/8", 10-1/2"), then you can make slightly smaller size box card.
Hope my explanation works for you xxx
