[Scrapbook Page] Sketch Challenge - March 2018 Scrapbook Sunday Blog Hop

Thank you for joining us on our Scrapbook Sunday Blog Hop!

Each month we are set a challenge to creatively stretch our imaginations. The products we have used are all available in the current Stampin’ Up!® catalogues. To hop along, please use the buttons at the bottom of the post to keep hopping.

This month's Theme is "Sketch Challenge"

I love Challenges, I love sketch challenges even more!

But

The problem with me is,

When I do craft,

I have a "THING" comes out

Sometimes this "Thing" is good for me to be perfectionist,

But sometimes it blocks me to be creative especially when I have a guide to follow. like knitting patterns or Copy to draw someone's face or place or products. because I want my projects exactly look like the pattern/Guide!

Because I am new to scrapbook, There are too many thing to think about to finish a page. My 1st page took few good hours to complete.

But the sketch gives me a fixed layout(Flexible), so I only need to think colours, embellishments/Photos.

It only took less than 2hours to finish today's Scrapbook Page!

If someone who is new to scrapbook, I strongly recommend to use sketches.

I simply chosen scrap colours which were based on kids's clothes in the photo.

What if they wore Black/White!?
Gladly they wore colourful clothes!

I've used blend markers for unicorn image, It's 3rd time to use them.

I used them on Whisper white cardstock. 1st and 2nd time were fine, no bleed, but this time it bled over the outline, But I don't have the colour lifter with me, so I used a white gel pen to hide/cover the bled area. I think It worked!

I have a process video showing start to finish this project. Here is a my video
